National Medical College Teaching Hospital, Birgunj, has successfully achieved the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification.
According to the hospital, this achievement reflects its strong commitment to delivering quality healthcare services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining effective institutional management standards.
The certification was granted after a comprehensive evaluation of the hospital’s management systems, operational procedures, and service delivery mechanisms, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.
Under the ISO 9001:2015 framework, the certification covers a wide range of services including medical services, clinical training, diagnostic and laboratory services, radiology, pharmacy, emergency services, blood bank, and teaching and support services. The hospital stated that this milestone highlights its dedication to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and standardized processes.
Located in Ward No. 15, Bhediyahi, Birgunj–Parsa, National Medical College Teaching Hospital has fulfilled all required standards to obtain this certification. The certification will remain valid subject to successful completion of periodic surveillance audits.
